Folks,
I told myself I wouldn't buy another pony, but I did. I sold my 2001 and got a Ruby Red 2015 v6 with the upgraded rims, upgraded differential, and a few other things. Was rather pleased for what I was getting for the price. Didn't ever think that highly of the inside of the 2011-2014 ones (but love the look). Sat in a 2015 and went WOW! Ford made a pretty decent interior for once.
Yeah, that lasted a week. I now have the dreaded door problem I've read about. If you put pressure around the door handle, it goes away. My question is this - has any one been successful in getting the dealer to fix this? Furthermore, I bought the car 2 hours away. Can I go to my local ford dealer (who probably hates me for not buying from them, but they didn't have ruby red...) and get this fixed?
Car has less than 1000 miles. This isn't acceptable at all and this car wasn't cheap. I am not taking the car apart myself either, it's not my responsibility to deal with Ford's inability to get things right the first time. Please help!
