DORA PROCESSED!

I am so tickled HAPPY! I went over to the dealer who orders build vehicles. I ordered on Saturday 1/11/20. He told me the allocation would be in on Friday, 1/17. That day went by and nothing. I came by yesterday, 1/23 to see if he got the allocation. He did! It was earlier in the week. The dealer was trying to reach me to tell me but he couldn't. LOL! He was calling the wrong # I don't have anymore? So, we sat down and he handed me the DORA paper showing it was processed (order confirmed) on 1/21/20 with order receipt on 1/11/20. Ron showed me the key information on dealer order receipt acknowledgement.

1) Priority 01 - the Pittsburgh Regional Scheduler who gets the ball rolling,
2) Order #: 0110
3) Dealer #: 44W447
4) Retail Order Priority #: 19 (assigned)
5) VIN #: assigned. I have it to plug in and track
6) Build Date (Scheduled Production): 3/23/20

I thought it took longer, perhaps 3-4 weeks for car production schedule and VIN assignment? I got it in 10 day? At the rate it is moving with car production beginning at that tentative date and ending usually a week afterwards, there is only assignment of shipping and the car gets moving. The Bullitt could be here some time in mid to late April?!?!

Hopefully, there will be a parts shortage or something to slow the production. I was looking at having it in late May or early June. The garage is almost done. I expect it to be completely finished by mid May, except for the epoxy floor paint.

Congrats! Any chance you could publish DORA? Of course with confidential info blacked out? I have one ordered a VIN and build week but never even after requests received a DORA. Fantastic dealership and I’m good as gold on the deal with a Sales contract. Can you let us know how much of a ADM you paid? Most seem to be 5k to 10 k and some lucky dogs got for MSRP! Count yourself lucky as I thought I was late in game(October) and my build week only a couple before yours. Looks like they will or are ramping up things! Hope they put in all the bolts, fluids etc. UAW workers we appreciate you. Help us all have solid reliable machines!

There is really nothing confidential on a DORA sheet. It is dealer order receipt acknowledgment from the factory. The price level shows the invoice price specifications according to your group package and options. It does not reflect what you paid for the vehicle. Sale price for me was under the invoice ($50,032.00) and factory fuel charge ($41.12) for my package. When processed your VIN # will be created on the DORA. Regional scheduler will create a build date. In my case the DORA listed my build date as "SCHD TBD". The dealer actually had to cancel an earlier inventory allocation in order for my retail allocation. The allocation came in hours after the DORA end. The build date of 3/23/20 was set.

I don't even get there! I've only started to track since earlier in the week. I know my build date is 3/23/20, so I wasn't tracking. On Monday was my first try. Since then I tried two other times and got the same message? Hmmm? Maybe the dealer didn't do something for it to register? IDK? Here is the message:

System Error, Please try again later.

This is the Ford site. I think you have to make an account for it to work. Top right.

I heard COTUS was very difficult and problematical with this new site being the cure? Why can't I get in???? Anyone?

Does it ever ask you to login with a Username/Password?

When I use my PC it does not ask for a sign in. When it is working it does not matter if I am signed in or not. When I use my Android Phone it will ask for a sign in even if I have already signed in and If it is working I just hit cancel on the sign in to see the report.
I just checked and it is still not working. I think the last time it worked was Tuesday.

Thanks for DORA that answers my questions and adds “to the Mustang Collective” body of knowledge for sure. And I’ve had the same issue trying to track mine. Just wonder if it has changed?
