I have been tracking mine. Some days it works and some days I get System Error.
I used it successfully last night and this morning. Got my VIN from the dealer yesterday - I ordered on January 30 and my car went into production on February 12.

Hey DRB,
Looks like they got started on your car pretty quick. Mine was ordered Dec 04, in production Feb 05, awaiting shipment Feb 07, Estimated delivery Feb 26 in Jacksonville.

I know. I'm both shocked and pleased. Maybe I get a new car for my birthday. :D

There's a special order similar to mine that just arrived at my dealer - order date was November 26, 2019. Was there a factory hold-up during December? The UAW contract was ratified by the end of November IIRC.

Nice. I had trouble deciding between Rapid Red and Magnetic Metallic. Changing out the 265 40 19 summer tires when it comes in (too many trips north).

Yeah, the summer-only tires are okay through October or maybe November around here, so I should get seven months before I need to do that.

Did you finally go with the Red or the Magnetic? I never thought I'd like a red car that much, but my '13 was my first "fun" car in thirty years and I bought it new, in Red Candy, off the lot. So now I'm sentimentally attached.

Magnetic. I see you are getting the manual trans, I guess we are in the minority on that count.

I just don't want the other old men to make fun of me. :cwl:

It is good exercise and helps keep us awake while we drive.

Today they have my car listed as "In Transit" with an estimate that it will be at my dealer's on February 25th.

This is faster than I've heard of anyone's being delivered - if it's on time, it would be a little less than four weeks from order to delivery.

Mine was ordered on Jan 3rd, Looks like it made it to Ford on the 17th, Production on the 7th. Now awaiting shipment! Estimated delivery date 2/29 but I imagine that will slip since its been awaiting shipment for almost a week now.

So, about eight weeks. Sounds reasonable. But Ford's tracker tonight is telling me to expect it in less than four weeks from order. The blend date was yesterday.

Maybe it's a computer glitch.:cwl:

Do you know what priority the dealer put on the order? That might have helped.

"Priority: 80."

This was just the initial order submitted through Concepts, though. My salesman printed it and handed it to me immediately.

I guess 80 is a stock priority code, rather than retail?
