i thought the rear tires would stay with a 35 sidewall? Do wider tires fit on this setup?
Any insight would be appreciated.

If you go with 295/30 in the rear your tire diameters will match exactly. And 295 will fit fine on a 10.5 inch wheel.

Another option would be 275/35 up front and 295/35 in the rear. This would allow for wider front tires. These would be taller and cause a little speedometer error. Also could rub if you're lowered a lot, but plenty of people here run 285/35r20 front and 305/35r20 rear on 20x10 and 20x11 wheels.

Offsets are pretty much perfect. Assuming the car isn't lowered too much, I might be inclined to run a 265/35 R20 up front, 305/35 on the rear.

I second the 275/35 and 295/35 setup. I am one of those who run 285/35r20 front 305/35r20 and lowered 1 1/8"-1 1/4" with no rubbing on 10x20 and 11x20 wheels.
