I am looking at buying myself a 2015 GT premium with the PP and the guy at the dealership seems like he is not telling me everything. I am a Costco member and also a MCA(Mustang club of America) member so I am eligible for the Costco auto program and also x- plan. The dealer is making it seem like I can only use one or the other? Doesn't seem right? When I emailed asking about Costco and the x-plan he responded with

Eric,

Costco pricing on the 2015 Mustang is invoice minus rebates. X-plan is $78.92 over factory invoice. Invoice on a 400a + performance pack is $36,986.77. I attached a screen shot of one so you can see it.

Costco-$36,986.77- $500 Rebate

X-Plan-$37,065.69 - $500 Rebate

I mean $36,500 for the mustang with a sticker msrp of $39,420 is good but is there anything I can do to get that price lower? When I responded he said that the two could not be combined or used together? Is that true? Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

Sure... You should be able to combine them and get the price down to $18250.

Use this site to find rebates for your area. I got $2250 in rebates when I got my car towards the end of December. Plus x-plan pricing.

+1. My dealership honors both programs. Not combinable.
Can confirm they take both and Costco is cheaper. Was kinda surprised since I've bought Xplan cars before and thought that was a steal.

You are saying you got $2250 off Xplan? Would love to see the invoice on this :)

I got my car in December also and $500 off xplan was the only rebate

How would you combine them? Xplan minus Costco? you pay $78.92 out the door?

they should be able to give you the car for 500 below invoice plus whatever rebate you choose.

when i ordered mine in august, we agreed upon a price, $500 below invoice, and whatever rebates there may be upon delivery.

upon delivery there was a "black friday" rebate for $500, november 20th. so 1000 below invoice was my final price. 32,7xx for a base GT with PP and all weather mats.

No I thought that I would get x-plan and I would get some sort of an additional discount for being a Costco member also. Like x-plan price minus something like 50-1000 bucks off for Costco membership as well. Thought it would be worth something not just use one or the other. I guess I'm  Maybe I need to work nights and weekends at a ford dealer for a couple weeks and get D plan.

D Plan, from what i hear, isn't really that much more different than X Plan.

From my (somewhat limited) research, A/Z plan is the lowest, it is for current/retired employees of Ford. D plan is apparently $100 higher, and is for employees of Ford/Lincoln/Mercury dealerships. Information on some Ford websites indicates that A/Z pricing is the best price available.

X Plan is going to be (invoice - .4%) + $275, which seems to work out in most cases to a little bit over invoice. I think on my car it worked out to about $100 over invoice.

I would expect A/Z/D to be a few hundred bucks below invoice.

According to the DORA that my dealer gave me, A Plan would be $1700 cheaper (for a premium GT with PP) than X plan.
