I've got an ecoboost PP with lightweight wheels and Recaro seats. I weigh 195.

Check corner weights off the list.
I've never seen a perfect balance without spending time adjusting coil-overs til now.

Granted I used a truck scale but it's good to +/- 20#. I was in the car. Wow!

I weighed the two fronts (2000) and then the whole car (3840) then the right front (1000) and then the right side (1820). I'm sure if I had then hit the left rear and then left side it would have changed, but there is no way it would change enough to discount a great corner balance set up. I spent an hour and a half balancing the e46 with coil-overs and didn't get it perfect. Disclaimer is that today was on a truck scale that isn't any more accurate than +/- 20#.

So theoretically at +/- 20 lbs, it could have been

RR-940
That would still yield a cross percentage of 51/49 which is nothing to sneeze at.

Ya this car is significantly more hefty than I thought it was. I was hoping for 3500. To put it in perspective my buddy with a similar setup but a gt was only 60 lbs more than me if I remember correctly.

I weighed my 2020 Hi-PO 2.3 liter Ecoboost that has Recaro seats, handing pack with Mag shocks and 6sp manual trans. My Ecoboost weighed 3640 ponds with full tank of gas and no driver. Do you all have manual trans ? I would like to know how an auto trans Ecoboost compares.

That's an empty / dry weight of 3,625# - she's not light. I've also added another 20# of intercooler over the nose, but that was a necessary upgrade. That still leaves a F/R weight split of 52.5% / 47.5% and I'm pretty happy with that. I just wish it was 500# lighter... This car weighs as much or more than a GT350R.

Is this a 201a car minus the heated/cooled seats? I would be happy with 3640.

The intercooler weight is over stock... the ATM unit is beefy with cast aluminum tanks and easily 3x the volume of the stock unit. Much less prone to heat soak, though.

The GT350R weight I’m looking at is 3,700#, and there are a lot of weight loss features on that car. Rear seat delete, CF wheels, AL brake rotor hats and spindles... weight distribution isn’t quite as good as the EB, but power to weight is substantially better...

The article I was looking at was on the Steeda website: https://www.steeda.com/shelby-gt500-vs-shelby-gt350r

They show the 2020 GT350R at 3,713#, with a split of 54%F / 46%R. At that weight in those proportions, the GT350R has 2,005# on the front and my car has 2,080#. The GT350R has 1,708# on the rear and my car has 1,880# on the rear.

Now I suspect that the GT350R didn't have a driver in it and things would be nearly dead even if I got in there, but still...

Do you have an aftermarket exhaust, back seat, and or driveshaft upgrade?

I still have the back seat, stock exhaust and original driveshaft. The only things I've done to lower weight are aftermarket wheels and the Recaro seats.

I was looking at this thread and saw Cheo was wondering if I had a 201a package 2020 Ecoboost HPP Mustang that weighed 3640 pounds without the heated and cooled seats. Yes, I do have the 201a package with Recaro seats instead of the heated and cooled seats.
