Does an E85 tune still require upgraded injectors?

I searched the forums and all the info on this is from years ago where injectors had to be upgraded to run this tune. I also read a post saying it was no longer necessary to upgrade the injectors when tuning for E85. First question, is it required to upgrade the injectors just to run E85? Second question, if it is not mandatory to upgrade the injectors would there be any gains to be had by upgrading them on a lightly modded car? My current engine mods are JLT intake, 18 manifold, BBK LTH, catted mid pipe, H pipe, axle back exhaust with a 91 tune on it. Once i get it on E85 I can start removing weight from this thing.

With the upgraded mani on the 15-17 like you have yes injectors will be required to run e. Stock mani you can get away without. 18+ also can get away without thx to dual injection.

That said its definitely worth it if you have access in your area.

Thanks for the replies, it looks like I'll be shopping for injectors now. :)

You will need some bigger E85 injectors for your set up. We sell them here at www.lethalperformance.com! Give me a shout if you have any questions!
