Maybe Ford will bring out an 8th generation performance Falcon someday. Count me in for that.

The big 4-door sedan market segment is dying a slow death, as it is in the USA with the Taurus. Most people want SUVs. The top selling vehicle in Australia last month was the Ranger (Australia designed).

The 3-box sedan market is ok for the moment in immature markets. Ford Australia has kicked goals with their design leadership of the stretched Taurus and Escort for China, and the Figo in India. But even those markets seem to slowly swinging towards SUVs.

In Australia we now just have to settle for Mustang for our Ford V8 performance thrills, which isn't a bad thing

I agree, but I can't justify virtually throwing away a set if wheels. Besides, I have grown to like the standard wheels.

On my wish list however would be this American Racing Mag:
