Discontinued Colours

Ouch, that's a massive bummer for anyone looking for DIB/CO/G colours!

On a plus, yep much 'rarer' colours now. Wonder if any of the three new colours will be another 'free colour' (Maybe Grabber blue?). As RR from pictures has blitzed through the CO in the 'free colour' stadings... that being said, can't tell the difference on pictures :lol:!

New colours are:
Grabber Blue
Shadow Black
Triple Yellow
Magnetic
Lightning Blue
Race Red
Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (interesting about tinted clearcoat, as this sounds more like a candy treatment)
White Platinum Metallic Tinted Tri-coat
Ingot Silver
Oxford White

And thanks to Twin Turbo (Paul) here's a paint swatch for lightning blue:

Need to see it on a car. Think it make be a bit light - a sort of metallic Grabber Blue?

Nice one, cheers for confirming, so yeah, anyone currently looking to buy a CO/DIB or Guard coloured Mustang, out of luck, but 3 new colours to pick from.

Lightning blue looks a lot like the blue my mother has on her Fiesta, that's a metalic light blue - Looks OK in the flesh, i prefer darker blues, but as with colours it's all personal preference - she loves it (maybe they're trying to sell mustangs to women? :lol: #Sarcasm)

Sorry for the delay in replying. Those three colours have been removed on new orders. We cannot order the new colours just yet so don't know if going to be the same as the ones above. I do have three cancelled Mustangs in another post that are coming in around 2-3 months time. Yellow, Ruby Red and a Deep Impact Blue one.

Actually, if it's possible, can you not get us a break down of every car and then by engine as well, percentages is fine, we've got a few maths and finance guys here who would be more than happy to bash the numbers of X mustangs being X% of y%engines :lol:

It makes me wonder if my car will be unique.
I think i have read some statistics somewhere (but cant remember where) that there have been around 3,000 Mustangs ordered.
Getting closer to 50/50 on engines after the initial larger number of V8 orders
Also 50/50 on manual/auto split.
Only 20% convertible.
Guard had around 6% of orders. Breaking that lot down gives 9 like mine out of 3,000, but i ordered Saddle leather (1 of 3 choices on guard) and the custom pack, but many prefer the black wheels (and not paying an extra £200 for wheel colour!).
And now there wont be any more in Guard.
Anybody got any more accurate stats?

[MENTION=20606]j-rowe14[/MENTION] cheeky ask, can you get us like a full list of stats please? Mustangs ordered how many of each colour (or percentages whatever metric it is reported in), and then how many of each engine base. (any more info like custom packs etc would help )

So guys, I've taken the plunge and ordered a Triple yellow V8 fastback. Though my head says go for a convertible but the one I test drove, the roof rattles quite a bit and that will drive me mad. Been quoted end of September delivery and I can't wait. Only issue is the colour, not keen on the tri coat but I might change my view when I see one in flesh.

Been kicking myself ever since missing out on competition orange as it's my preferred colour of choice. Other colours doesn't do it for me at all apart from Oxf white, but i currently own a white car with black wheels so don't want a repeat.

Anyway should anyone know of a CO cancelled order (V8, Ceramic, Auto, cc seat, nav, PCD) let me know.
