How were you launching on the converter? I find flashing the converter works a little better than stalling the converter up to a certain speed. And dumping the brake pedal.

Best 60's were footbraking to 22-2300. Still allows flash surge to 3,600 which data logs showed spot on.

Thanks for the insight! Im on the fence about getting a converter and not sure which version to get. My car is a daily driver so I dont want it to feel less responsive under normal driving conditions.

It will be more responsive instead of always lugging down. Your P1X will thank you! Instantly much better in the rpm range where blower starts to get happy

My sixties are in the 1.55-1.63 ranges. Try data logging it while your flashing the converter. Or better yet. Just look at your slip and see if your sixty improves. If you don’t know what I mean by flashing. PM me and I’ll explain.
