This will be the 3rd season of racing and we made a lot of changes to make the car a consistent 10sec bracket racer. (This is a dedicated 1/4 mile bracket car, it’s not street driven).
We added Comp Cams, BMR K-member, sway bar delete, Pmas fenderwell intake, Aerospace Components front/rear drag brakes, Ford Performance driveline safety loop and deleted the AC. I think the car will weigh around 3250-3275lbs. Also made the switch from MT ET street R’s to the Hoosier DBR at the last race of last year. Work and tune is done by Kaiser Motorsports in Washington. It might be on the dyno today!

What supporting mods did you select to go with the cam install; any besides the Boundary OPGs? Valve springs, timing chains and tensioners? Great build!

Looks killer! 3250 - 3275 is a good weight to help with consistency. You’ve already touched 10s before, so that should do it.

Had OPG’s done last year. Comp cams are NSR….valve train is all OEM.

Just sharing facts, not shade.. I thought I had this info in your threads / plans, if not I apologize that I didn't make this point clear. You may be ok, However.. They, fairly so, are "NSR" to factory redline. My comp cams build I go out to 8200-8300. I feel a whole lot safer with PAC 1281X springs. Call comp cams ask them to what redline the cams are "NSR".

Did you consider a manual steering rack? I may if I go lightweight K-member. I'm a little nervous about the electronic going haywire without the electric rack present. I also understand there's not a one-stop proven way to connect from the steering shaft to the Flaming River rack.

I’m completely comfortable with the build and tune in the car.

I have no interest in a manual steering rack.

Just one more point, no need to reply if you don't want to you. If you've followed a lot of threads you may also be aware of a member that got shrapnel through his motor due to lots of over 8k action. This is due to the assembly clips on the little rockers (or whatever they are called) that seem prone to letting loose with that kind of rpm duty.

Hope you kill it and never have a problem.

I’m well aware of the potential issue.
