Hi guys!

I recently purchased an imported 2015 GT here in Switzerland. For some unknown reason, the previous owner had disabled the sequential turn signals, which sucks cause they have to be one of my favorite "quirky" features of the car (insert Doug DeMuro reference here).

Does anyone have an idea where I could look/what might have been done to the lights? I removed the rear panel and checked the wiring, couldn't see anything that indicates it might have been tampered with or anything.

Cheers, Vincent

I think the EU version has clear tail lights and non sequential turn signals. That could be it.

No, it's a US model that originally had them enabled from the factory. Hate the Euro lights lol

Good idea, I'll go ahead and order an OBDII adapter tomorrow and check it out, was meaning to get one anyways.
Currently, when I turn on the turn signals, all 3 lights flash at the same time. The "on" position is still on for longer than the "off" position, like it should be with the sequentials.

EDIT: Just searched a bit online and found a handy spreadsheet on all the ForScan codes that other users have compiled. Apparently, setting it on disabled makes all 3 bars light up at the same time, exactly how it is right now. I bet this is it. The dealer quoted me like $230 to change it...

Ok quick update, turns out the value is set correctly. I even ringed up the garage that did the initial inspection, but they had no idea what I was talking about. What the fuck, seriously I am out of ideas haha

Most guy who import stangs in Switzerland will disable the sequential turn signal using modified wirings as they do not know about the ForScan option. So yours is probably modified by hardware.

Thanks...I changed mine to disabled.

I like the whole light blinking at the same time.

I guess I'm just old...

Same. I'm going to try this out soon. Seems like it's safer and more attention grabbing with the entire light on. Some of the new vehicles are now doing the entire light on and then asynchronously dimming.

ps. Sorry to bump an old post.
