Yep, it works with the stripes, and you don't see many of them. The black 5.0 badges really made a positive difference.

I bought an led kit from the vendor on here and replaced all my interior lights with green LED's. Matches up well and is dimmer. I then used the MyColor settings on the car, or whatever it is called, and changed all of that to green too.

It makes for a good reaction anytime someone sees me open my doors for the first time at night.
Which vendor? I'd be interested in doing the same thing in red if they have a kit. Thanks!

I have a 2017 and the interior lights cut off after about 5 minutes with the doors still open as long as the car is off.

I just stumbled on this thread, this person installed a switch in the dome light housing to turn on and off the lights. This is the best solution I found so far but any other solutions are welcome.

That seems like what you are looking for. Although, I'd probably pick a switch that uses a round mounting hole (way, way easier to fit). You can get a rocker that mounts in a round hole, but, I'd probably get a latching push-button (push on, push off) because it's sexier.

These guys have some cool ones: CIT
