Direction Indicator Gone

On the Sync3 at the top of the display with the time and temp the was a direction indictor (N, NE, NW, S, SE, SW, E, W) and now it's gone. I played with it but I can't figure it out. Any ideas?

Well I guess that's not happening anytime soon. I'll deal without the compass for the time.

Yes,but it also shows up on the Nav screen depending which screen your on.I got tired looking for it and installed the old Ford rear view mirror with compass in it.

If you have upgraded to Sync 3 v2.2, the compass shows up on the home screen.
