I'm a fan of the Diode Dynamic LED side markers, I think they make UK cars look more American and I fitted them to my Bullitt within days of receiving the car.

However 13 months into ownership I noticed one side had stopped working. Given the strong £/$I quickly snapped a second set up, so that I could swap out whilst seeing if the previous ones could be repaired.

Whilst frustrating that one had died so soon, I found the that working one was delaminating it's casing - so I've ended up having to swap both sides. I also note that in the kit, the supplied wiring loom is now much thicker cable/insulation - which leads me to suspect that either the first was either a counterfeit kit, or they've had issues with other failing.

Anyway, I'm going to email them as they do have good customer relations teams and hopefully I might be able to get the older ones repaired.

I had the drivers side fail about a year in. Emailed them. They sent a new one out once I provided a receipt and asked for the old one back. With you being in the UK they may treat it differently but absolutely contact them. The lights have a 3 year warranty.

Contact them you have an account, check out order history?

The plus side of web/internet sales. But be advised having that account.

Placing a phone in purchase, that order will not be seen looking at the online account history.

The joys of Apple Pay - it didnt create an account. However I have dates from my debit card and I do have the latest order number in my emails / receipts.

By way of update.

Email exchanges over the weekend direct with Diode Dynamics and without quibble they were happy to honour the 3 year warranty even though I didnt buy direct from them.

I did however have to get my original receipt from Steeda UK and return the faulty lights.

In contacting Steeda UK to get a copy of my original invoice, they've gone one better. I can get a replacement set through them - without the need for posting back the broken lights. Just need to sort out emails and provide evidence of full destruction of the broken set and hey presto, a replacement set will be on the way.
