Is there a vent line?
Does the vent hole in the cover have a screen or something keeping debris from entering?

Close-up of the Internal Vent System of the Differential Rear Cover
The Vent Metal Cover Plate is removed and setting beside (with the attaching screw).
No screen, The External Vent Fitting nipple (Aluminum) has a 90 degree 1/4" rubber hose that connects to a nylon hose routed to the right-rear upper fender well area where it terminates.

The OEM External Vent Fitting has slight taper, and actually presses into the cover housing, (No Threads)
