I took my VIN number and searched at cotus to get the information of my car (windows sticker). I've got 3.55 gear ratio on my GT MT.Since a lot of different combinations among US and EU cars and manual vs auto gears, how can you tell the type of differential for sure? Is there any visible sticker on the differencial?
Why? Are you suspecting your differential got...I know about ETIS specs, but I'm asking if there is any visual identify on the differential itself i.e. any bas-relief numbers etc.
Well yeah, I'm fairly certain none come with an open diff hahaFor the EU spec car, the diff on all the models is the same and is the limited slip one.
Every single Mustang has LSD. PP has Torsen, non-PP has clutch-type one (I believe). Which one are the EU versions getting I have no clue. In US Torsen comes from a factory with 3.71 ratio and manual transmission only, so making uneducated guess you may have the other one.For the EU spec car, the diff on all the models is the same and is the limited slip one.
Would be an interesting decision on Ford's part if true. I'd like it to be true, but a viscous LSD is much more streetable and low maintenance, at the expense of performance.... non-PP has clutch-type one (I believe). ...
Gear ratio ? No clue. LSD type ? Non-Torsen one.EB auto (EU) ?
