As previously posted I picked mine up on Christmas Eve ....have only done 200 miles or so , but main points , in no particular order (most of which have been reported in other threads), that may be of interest :

 • · Brakes are excellent ...very aggressive; depending what you're used to.
 • · Exhaust note is 'subtle V8' , you know it's there (particularly at start up , and harder acceleration), but it's toooo quiet (for me)
 • · Interior is fine / good. Sync 2 , music etc all fine.
 • · Ceramic leather , prone to marking (as all light leathers .) ..so protect it first , to avoid dirty jean syndrome.
 • · Tyres / grip is fine ..just drive it with respect depending on the conditions
 • Doesn't seem that quick / nimble ...it's a big / heavy car..but a very capable GT / Cruiser. It feels like it has potential , but still need to explore that on a track .
 • Had the battery cable insulated and tied back according tho the field service alert
 • Averaging ~20 mpg overall.
 • Very pleased with it's looks ....lots of admiring glances / questions.
 • All in all , love it ..well worth the wait.

Very nice. Too bad it does't have the ceramic door inserts like the 50YLE.

I can't believe they don't have a RHD center console with the cup holders & parking brake switched!

Gonna have to blame your yank-ford department for that one ;)

That being said, think most of us Euro users discussed that having the Handbrake/parking brake over there wasn't particularly the biggest issue in the world.

Lovely.

I had a yellow Griffith 500 when I was last living at home in the UK. Loved that car to death and only sold it in late 2014 due to my immigration abroad. If I ever move back, I will be putting another TVR back in the stable.

I'm also now driving a deep impact blue GT.... It would appear we have similar taste my good friend! :)

Enjoy your new toy!

Oooooo same spec as mine apart from I haven't got the custom pack. Looks great.

What have you used to protect your seats? It's the only thing I'm slightly nervous about as I don't want them covered in blue and black dye.

Does it clean up easy enough?

Nice write up and pics - I have the same spec but Ebony interior.

I guess it's your Tuscan too? ;)

I've had a 390SE, 460SE and a 500 Griff in the past - the Mustang is obviously going to be less 'raw', but it's supposed to be a GT (as you recognised) so no bad thing.

Enjoy the snow ;)

Very nice. The 'stang looks so big next to the TVR.
