Window Sticker : 28/06/20 (‘Blend Date’ : 08/07/20 - Monday … lol)
‘Body Shop’ : 28/06/20
‘Trim Line’ : 08/07/20
‘Produced’ : 09/07/20
‘Released’ & ‘Awaiting Shipment’ : 15/07/20
‘Delivered’ : 21/07/20 (‘Expected arrival date in the US port’ : 21/07/20)
‘Compound In’ : 21/07/20 (From UK dealer system, NOT from tracker)
Sailed : 09/08/20 (From UK dealer system)
Arrived (Liverpool Docks) : 26/08/20 (From UK dealer system)

My dealer has now told me my car is ‘compound out’ not sure if that means at Baltimore or left Baltimore I’ve only seen compound in before

Just had a call from my dealer my car is in the Liverpool compound I also reminded him I will refuse the car if they fit the hideous no. plate mounts

That's the exact route I took - and they knew I was serious ...

When it arrived at Liverpool my sales person wrote to the PDI guy (at the same dealer) to notify him.

One of the instructions was that no one touched the car upon delivery until I had viewed it.

I confiscated the plinth and mounting screws when I viewed it.

After viewing it at the body shop, I made masking tape labels for both front and rear quoting 'do not drill'.

The plates were in the boot for me on collection day on the understanding that I would fit them before I left the forecourt.

My car has now sat for 10 days in Liverpool compound I’ve volunteered to drive it to dealership but strangely they said no Is the underseal put on here or the states ? My dealers says it not done at dealership.

I heard a rumour Liverpool docks had had some covoid issues - maybe that’s added to the delay.

I don’t know about your underseal question, but If it were me and you have the option of taking it without underseal, I would do so.

I’m sure I could have done a better neater job, but I appreciate not everyone would want that extra hassle or cost etc.

In the big scheme of things your build / delivery had been very quick - don’t get stressed out to much at the last hurdle

My car has now sat at liverpool docks for 2 weeks, I’ve chased my dealer & they have chased fords. I’ve now had a email stating the my car is now priority 2 My dealer says it will move quicker. I think it should priority 1 until it’s in my hands

My car has now sat in the Liverpool compound for a month I’ve chased my dealer They got me put on priority 2, 2 weeks ago Anyway I got bored the other day n contacted Andy Barrett he is off work but I’ve been put in touch with his team n they are pushing but they are saying weeks not months !!!

Week 5 of waiting after arriving in uk. Ive been informed by ford my car was on its way to Dagenham then Spoke to my dealer he has told me it maybe with them today. So I’ll get to see it tomo if there n remove window sticker n the lovely no. plate plinths, I’ll advise them again about not fitting them Looks like pick up next tues weds
