Detailed Order Process (UK-S550)

I'm told my car will be on tomorrow's ship from Zeebruge to Southampton... does anyone have any idea which ship it is then I can track it?

Had a call from the dealer this afternoon with a progress update.

Apparently it's still in Southampton, I know that it arrived into Zeebrugge on the 25/03/17, he says they are struggling to cope with the sheer amount of cars that need moving from Southampton at the moment, I will get another call on Monday to let me know if it's on the way, or not!

Not holding my breath on this one.

What dealer did you order from? I see you are in Cheshire. I'm in Warrington but I ordered through Peoples in Liverpool. I was told a max of 4 days in Southampton as only small storage area. And some guys have said they often use rail to transport to Liverpool.

Looking on the tracking info it says "delivered from" Zeebrugge on the 30/03, from that I take it has been in Southampton since then?

I'm not in any particular rush for the car, but I'd like to know why the delay.

I test drove at Winick Road but they wouldn't absorb the first reg increase post April even though they couldn't deliver before then so I went to Peoples in Bootle.

My car also arrived in Zee on the 25th and sat there since, I emailed the UK Ford M.D. to chase and ask why... acknowledgment but no response. My dealership thought it was strange a Dorms car arrived at the same time, on same ship and was delivered to Southampton only 5 days later. I will persue answers as I don't want a damage in transit and repaired vehicle.

Ordered from the same dealership and looks like we ordered around the same time. I got a similar update today and they said it is in Southampton and it will be in Liverpool by early next week. Fingers crossed!

Just so I can update my "tracker" with latest info, I'd be grateful if those who are just about to have their cars delivered to dealers could let me know approximate times it took from arriving at Zeebrugge to being delivered to dealer. It's important the car is delivered by mid-June at the absolute latest or I'll need to make alternative arrangements, that's why I'm keen to pin down accurate timings. Thanks

Mine got to Zeebrugge 25/03, delivered to dealer 13 April.
However, several others that had their cars on the same ship from the US as me haven't had their cars delivered to dealers yet, so not sure what's going on at the moment

That's settled, so the car has passed upfitters (However it's pretty late) you're now relying on [MENTION=7992]FordService[/MENTION] on M6G for updates regarding when it's in Baltimore, once Deysha or her equiv has given you an update on the forums, and it's in Baltimore you've got a few weeks waiting and checking WWL seeing if you can beat Karen and Stacey to the update, then you're onto ship tracking lol!

now you are in no mans land. Best to drop Karen an email in a few days. Next place it will show up is WWL.

Cargo ID = your vin number.

My guess would be since a major shipment has just left the states (60 odd UK spec cars) it could take a little longer for it to be allocated a boat. I could be wrong.

One thing is for sure, from here on out its just even more of a mystery.

Current times seem to be around 1-2 months from gate release to being assigned a boat.
