You got a purdy mouth.

So the car I ordered on 12/2 showed up on 1/13 (My Birthday) :headbang:
It arrived late in the day, my salesman had left with a Kidney stone, and I was waiting on an out the door price from the dealer... So I couldn't pick it up that day. :brokenheart: I did take some pictures however

The next day it was snow/freezing rain and I had no intentions of driving it off the lot straight onto the salt/brine covered roads so I decided to wait until Thursday as the weather would be better.

I showed up at 10am Thursday to pick it up, ready to go. The entire process seemed to take an eternity (really only 1 1/2 hours) but then it was done and I was ready to leave.

The dealer accidentally drilled the front license plate holes even after repeated confirmation they would not. Seemed everybody knew but the guy doing the PDI. :tsk: :rant:But they called me before hand and we worked it out. They gave me 3 free oil changes and a free detail/wax whenever I feel like collecting on that. (not sure I want the wax job)

Here it is at the dealer.

So far I'm at about 120 miles and loving this car in a probably unhealthy way.

This weekend will entail a clay bar and Chemical Guys Jetseal application.

And I know Magnetic is quite the common color it seems but I just love what it does in the sun.

I now know it was all worth it as this is an amazing car. Even in 4 cylinder configuration I love it. Yes I do wish it sounded better but I have the 07' if I just need to hear the V8 noise for a while. And I'm shocked at how flat it is over 5000 rpm. If ever a car needed a tune this one does. But these are issues I'll address as time goes on and in a way will make it more interesting to me overall. So one more satisfied 2015 Mustang owner here.

The reason why Magnetic is such a common color, is because it looks "fantastic"! Just goes to show many Mustang owners out there have the same good taste! :headbang:

For me, I'm still wrestling between the Magnetic and the Ruby Red,,,.;)

The Ruby Red is also a great color. Thought about that one myself.

Yes it is, a real one no less. Shine and shotguns out back.
So I just finished washing, drying and clay barring the entire car. I used an electric leaf blower (thanks for the idea forum guys) to dry it so no towels involved. That took way longer than expected. But the end result was awesome.

The before and after using the clay bar was a real shock. You couldn't tell how bad the surface was until after doing a section with the clay bar. Then an untouched area would just feel bad in comparison. Really an eye opener considering its a new car. Certainly being on a train and then a truck in shipping isn't great for the paint. I would consider this a "Must do first" step now that I've seen the difference.

Next up is JetSeal.

And I finally got to hit some twisty back roads for a minute today. Didn't push too hard as my son was with me but enough to tell there is much more grip than my 07' currently has. Looking forward to some nice weather and a trip to some good roads.

Getting used to the powerband of the 2.3 and liking the torque of this motor. I had to pass on a 2 lane today and 50 to 95 happened rather quickly in 3rd gear. Can't wait till it's tuned although I'm really not in a hurry for that right now.

Well I better get back to work. It's not getting any earlier.

So after the clay bar and Chemical Guys Sealer here are a few photos. Love all the different shades of color Magnetic takes on depending upon the light.

Not the best photographer but the Chemical Guys sealer really looks great.

Next time I'll put a wax over it as well. Just didn't have access to a good wax this weekend. Need to get some ordered.

Just absolutely loving this car.
