Sorry, I don't want to kick a guy when he is down but you need to face reality damn fast. The car was low on oil--and boy did you prove that with your pictures and post AND you drove it. "The dealer said drive it but baby it"...yeah, how well did the dog ate my homework excuse work when you were 7? That excuse was worthless then as yours is now.

Go ahead and push this and you just might push Ford into denying all work--they legally can as you have proven in your post and pics it is not a warranty issue. Ford can easily say "dealer issue" not a warranty issue. Ford's warranty is for manufacturing issus not dealer service mistake issues.

And the dealer is gonna point to your driving the car with almost no oil. Their lawyer will tear you apart-- you found not 1 but 2 puddles of oil on the ground. Did you measure and fill the oil before driving it to the dealership? Im assuming not.

In such a case the best you could probably get out of a dealership (or jury) is 50/50 comparative negligence. In other words Ford pays zero, dealer pays half and You pay half of the costs for a new engine and install.

But hey, you keep on making a big deal about your diminished value.......

My understanding from reading on forums the Mustang GT has a low oil notification but the GT 350 does not. If true doesn't make sense.

Sounds like the dealer never got the filter torqued down properly and just sorta glanced over that fact to prevent any further liability on them. Sucks for sure. Sorry man.

Don't over think it, they're making it right by replacing your engine. Additionally, having a numbers matching. Car isn't going to mean anything for at least 30-40 years at which point it will need a full rotisserie restoration etc, and even then we're speculating.
