Delamination spot on mirror

It seems that my mirror is developing a dark spot on inside of the glass.

I am not familiar with the inter workings of these light sensitive mirrors but I can assume that the spot is some sort of delamination internally.

Warrantied?

It's on the rear view mirror.

You're talking about top center of it? I believe it's a sensor for auto dimming.

Probably the light sensor. IIRC it's a small oval shape.

There is a sensor in the mirror where the coating is thinner so it looks darker.
