My brand new 2017 Mustang GT started making a squeaking noise at slow speeds when NOT BRAKING shortly after I bought it, also started to notice a groove starting to cut into the front brake rotors, took it in today to be checked and the mechanic said "something is in the pads and they have to be replaced". I'm stuck driving a loaner for the weekend, brand new car with 1000 miles on it, they also said the rotors will be okay...with a groove in them.
I'm starting to lose faith in FORD after being a loyal customer for 25 years.

if something as simple as a bad pad makes you lose faith in a company maybe there is something else wrong:crazy:

I work for a Ford dealership.... ask them to replace or at the minimum to surface the rotor. They have to surface the rotor for the new pads to seat properly anyways.

thanks...still sucks to have resurfaced rotors on a new car.

I just lost my ass on a pos 2013 Ford Focus that was used for work, transmission had been out four times among other issues, bought it new and it was in the shop more than my driveway.
