Ouch

Glad you are all right

Mod time perhaps?
Considered it, but repair shop won't use my supplied parts due to some agreement with All State. I will see what all needs to be replaced. I am not too impressed with most aftermarket hoods and bumpers other than the GT350 front end. I don't think I could bring myself to put a GT350 front end on a GT car....

Would look sweet on a convertible though!

Glad you're OK. New parts+painting should be an efficient and good-as-new repair if no serious underlying structural damage. Keep us posted..... ..... Good Luck! :ford:

Damn, sorry to see those pictures but I'm glad you're okay.

That's a strange deal with All-State, usually insurance doesn't care about the parts, they only care about the value of the claim. Idk

Nick C.
Turns out it isn't AllState, it is the dealer. I may be moving the car to a different shop if it becomes an issue.

No Roush front end for now, it would be an extra $2k to have them do the work. I don't agree with the quote, but not much I can do about it.

You can buy a prepainted kit from Roush for $1549, so if I am going to go that route I will do it on my own later.

Did they give a reason why it's so much?
I actually misunderstood, however it will still be an extra $1400 over a stock repair so it isn't worth it to me. The stock parts are dirt cheap.

FYI, the front bumper cover for our cars are only $126 and the upper grill is $47 right now. I feel like I should buy an extra. That has to be a price mistake.

No Roush parts, but my car should be done by the middle of next week! I can't wait to drive out again!

Sad to see my car in such a state, but good to see some repair progress.

Unfortunately some of the intake ductwork is on national backorder. They thought they would be done early next week, but now they don't when it will be done....

I hope in time for the hill country cruise!

You can't seem to catch a break with the backorders, Andy. I'm looking forward to seeing you and Jamie at the Hill Country cruise, so I hope it works out for you to get your car back in time.

It must hurt to see that much dust on the car. Try to hold back the tears. :D
