Not really, though it is getting quite hot out! I actually need to get a couple other cars tinted too (beater Miata and my fiance's car).

Got tint today and saw a couple interesting cars there (pics of my car were before hand). Will post pics of my car tinted later. Thanks for the recommendation!

Depends on which tint you get. Tritek charges $149 for most cars (ours included) for their cheapest 3 year warranty stuff. It's $199 for their "entry level" lifetime warranty film. Then it's $299 for ceramic (i'm not sure how tint can be ceramic??). Then it's $399 for their highest end stuff with infrared (IR) rejection. It blocks so much heat, it's ridiculous. They had a demo thing with a heat lamp in their shop. Also the owner has the high end stuff on his ZR1.

They charge $200~ to do the windshield with 70% IR (infrared rejection) which is considered legal since it's basically a clear-ish heat blocking film. If you want just a small strip at the top of the windshield it's $50.

I went to Pro-Tint Located in Plano, and they did the windshield for $150. That is a great shop as well. He tinted with the Air 90, which is basically clear as well. It made a huge difference in heat rejection now that it is almost 100 out.
