I'm a city dweller and as such can only clean my car with waterless wash and wax, Heresy to some I know but in the middle of a city it beats the car wash by a mile and the car looks good.
After cleaning, I use TurtleWax Ice sealant and Ice/Jet Black spray wax on the car with very good results. I find those products do very well at masking swirls and the Jet Black wax does especially well on the rear deckled black plastic. Hardly perfect but much much better than nothing. On anything but the closest inspection the black panel looks great.
Clean the black panel, put some Ice sealant on it and then some Jet Black spray wax. It will look great. Use the black wax whenever you can.
I apply the sealant to the whole car a few times per year but try to use their spray wax with every waterless wash. The combination of the two helps keep the car clean and looking good. The black wax even makes the Ruby Red paint look great but it really does the trick on the black plastic.
