I debadged the XK and the R (flagship model) from my Jaguar XKR. They destroyed my buffing pads whenever I would wax the trunk plus I didn't like the chrome look.
I forgot, yes the waxing and washing. That's a big benefit of debadging also

De-Badging? That's just crazy talk. :paddle:
.
The Shelby GT350 doesn't have any Ford or Mustang badges that I can see! :ford: :D ;)

I think the worst offender I've seen is a 300 with phantom front end, Bentley badges, and "Old Gangster" on the side. There's not enough face palms in the world for that.
I've seen a few similar to that too in my area.
Except I've seen one horrible offender that had a Rolls-Royce "RR" emblem on the front side fenders. And I hesitate to call it an Rolls-Royce emblem, because it looked like some bling-chain that Rick Ross would wear and was as if someone took the chain off, slapped some 3M tape on the back of the "emblem", and stuck it on the fender. Had the phantom grill and blade rims to go along with it... :frusty:

The only thing I want to do is remove the "Shelby" on the front splitter. Maybe put "Voodoo" there.

Funny how this forum doesn't have a rofl smiley. There should be an OT thread filled with pictures of the worst offenders

I'd prefer if it was just an unmarked piece, but that's just me

I know this thread is about debadging, but any word on different colored badges? I think an all black R with no stripes with the "GT350" emblem in red (to match the front snake emblem) would look awesome.

I hope they do. I would swap mine out with black chrome emblems, or just painted black if that isn't available.

Sorry to break your heart, but those are the things people will notice, first is the sound and how the body looks.

Just saying that you really can't be stealthy when your car is loud. Imo, leave the debadging to the base model buying v6/eb/benz 250/is 250 car crowd. Owners debadge those cars so people wouldnt know its the base model. In case you guys forgot, this is America, buy shit you dont need so you look good in front of people you dont know. :D
Sorry to break your heart, but that is such a stupid train of thought. Owners de-badge cars because it looks cleaner. Simple. Point blank. Bottom line

First thing I did to my limited 07 Daytona sublime Charger, 3 days off the lot brand new in 07, was peel the "Daytona" decal off the sides, peel the trunk blackout decal, and all badges

I currently have a V6 mustang, deabdged the stupid pony off the trunk by getting the Ford Racing Panel, blacked out the stupid pony in the grille so its not really visibile (until I go aftermarket), and proudly put black 3.7 emblems on the fenders since the front looked too long to me without anything. No "disguising" what model I have

De-badging should never be an issue to anyone, its "up badging" that people should have their panties in a bunch about

That being said, I would most likely not de-badge the GT350. The badges look way better then a dumb galloping pony

Is anyone else planning on doing this? I was hoping the GT350 on the sides were not aligned with holes in the fender like the 5.0 emblems on the GT. I want my car to look as clean and stealth as possible. If the Cobra emblems aren't removable, I'll at least black them out somehow.

Kind of hard to make it stealthy when the S550 and the GT350 in particular is one of the most 'look at me' designed Mustangs ever made.

I guess you could say my goal is to minimize that
