I live in Fareham and the only Ford Store in the area is Hendy Ford Eastleigh. I want a convertible for April 1st 2016 delivery.
They are able to take my details - on an "official" form - and a £1000 deposit and send the details off to Ford.
But they have no more info than is on the web site and don't know when a RHD demonstrater might be available or when the first deliveries might be.
I was aiming for the EB convertible in Ruby Red as an auto but it is much heavier on fuel and co2 than I excepted so I wll probably go for the m6... I will decide in next couple of days and then place my "order / request".
It is going to be a long wait...

Nope, it's been discussed before in the other sub forums. Something to do with the side airbags if I remember correctly

I don't think the lack of recaro's is down to any regulations but simply the cost to Ford of having them on the RHD models against the likely profit... The UK has a very small options list...

Well done for getting your order in mate.

Not sure why ford is not giving us the recaro option because nothing changes on seats between LHD and RHD cars as it's only the wheel and pedals that need to be changed over if you think about it lol

Agree no idea why they wouldn't include the recaro option in the UK most will wany it.. Particularly with the GT PP..
