Yeah but the point is, that was an issue that the vendor fixed months ago. There have been a couple threads already discussing this so the answers are posted. Plus a quick call to their customer support would have cleared it up very quickly. Both sets that I've had have been since they corrected the base design and mine fit perfect.
As the op just pointed out, these are the new models and they still failed....Sure its probably not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things, but again this is why I haven't pulled the trigger on them yet. I bought all of the other LEDs from DD and they've been great! I just cant justify spending $60 on those blinkers. I'm sure they'll have the design perfected eventually and hopefully the price trickles down there after as they wont be having to do as many refunds/returns. For now I am content with my car.

Hey guys - OP here. Sorry I couldn't get back to the forum before now.

First - I am IN NO WAY bashing Diode Dynamics!!!! I think they are a great company ,with great products, and greater than great customer service. I would buy again from them in a second, if I didn't already have pretty much everything they make for the Mustang (except the grill and fog lights which just don't interest me).

Second - I have the modded bulbs that DD sent out as warranty for my first ones.

Third - I apologize if my post came across as a complaint. It wasn't. It was simply me discussing a hidden failure - hidden because the cockpit indication for a burnt out turn signal will not work with the LED switchbacks because of the lower current. The car sees it as a fault all the time (and makes the cool galloping noise) - I thought it ironic that my son asked me how I would be able to tell if a bulb had burnt out (knowing how normal cars operate) just before I had an actual failure.

Cheers and happy Friday (even though I have to work overtime this afternoon)
I certainly didn't take this as a complaint just an observation. Even if it was a complaint, I feel as though you are entitled to it. No reason to have to apologize for it. I trust DD will have you taken care of regardless.
