Well this will be quick

it took about 20secs to install once I got the panels off enough to reach behind the tail lights. Had to remove the sub since I have 401a and a bracket was in the way of the right tail light but was still easy.

They work as intended ( I know hell of a review right? lol) and are ALOT cheaper than raxiom.

Many of you will know if you recall from my thread, I got them off of ebay. That thread got closed because ebay seller wasn't an authorized dealer or something and was selling below map. Well make a long story short...DD actually shipped them to me directly with all their warranty info, rewards info, and a sticker. Their name and address was on the shipment label...so not sure where this confusion is coming from but the guy is selling them on ebay but I guess at the retail price now and it's shipping directly from DD... Maybe he got in trouble or something. I bought from this guy because he was cheapest at the time and then the vendors here put them up for sale day after I bought them. Owell! Just get them from a vendor here.

this little guy couldn't make it through the install though... in my opinion especially if you got kids...the mod is 100% worth it. anything you can do to grab the attention of the idiot behind you while you're braking. should come standard ford -_-

oh and I could make you a video but unless yall really need me to prove it or something...DD has one and it will literally look no different.

Just did mine this evening! the Sub is a PITA, really!

I also think the delay in the DD sequencers is a little faster than the Raxiom - or is it just me?

Got mine today too. Same as you shows shipped from Diode Dynamics on the label and was sealed with DD tape an everything. I bought the last one on eBay at the cheap best offer price the day I seen your original thread. Oh well. I'll be putting them in this weekend. [emoji106]

I got mine yesterday also. Unfortunately, the right handside one doesn't work. It only lights up the 1st bar. I will unplug / re-plug it again after work today , hope it isn't broken.

Thanks for the review!

Yes, Active Custom Auto is an authorized retailer for Diode Dynamics, but the retail price on the Sequencer Harness is $80. He was contacted and the Ebay listing was updated with the correct retail pricing.

We set the retail price at a fair and reasonable amount to begin with, and we support customers who purchase through our authorized dealers.

Enjoy the mod!! It's a simple install, but it adds a great effect!

Just installed mine, probably one of the easiest mods I will ever do to this car, so it is welcomed for sure! Works as described. You can tell they are high quality pieces, no butt connectors or electrical tape used on them at all lol. Which is what one may assume at their price point compared to the Raxiom kit haha. I never seen the Raxiom kit and not hating on them at all. But I couldn't justify their kit at their price. DD hit this price target perfectly and believe they will sell a ton of these.

Cheers DD! Now if I can get your decals to come off the paper properly I would show you some advertising love lol. Out of the 3 I got with my bulbs and this kit I can't get any of them to lift off the backing and stay stuck to the application layer.

DD,
I never looked but can you make a plug and play sequencer for the front DRL? I know you have the new grid which adds it. But wasn't sure if anything can be done without taking apart the headlight.

yeah I went to put the sticker on my rack that has all my car cleaning stuff with my other stickers I've gotten and the sticker wouldn't come off the backing. It's supposed to stick to the front and peel off the back so you can apply. not the other way around.

can i get a new sticker DD? :p

We timed the factory blink speed (for turn), and made ours identical to that within a few milliseconds.

Thanks! And if you want to really check the quality, pop that plastic case open and you'll find a well-designed, clean PCB with name-brand components, and DIODE DYNAMICS on the board. We designed the circuit, PCB, everything, and then assembled it in-house. We didn't outsource anything, which means our cost is way lower, allowing us to offer it at a much lower price. But no skimping on quality. Thanks!
