...did you say the fusebox in the RHD is a much more of a pain to get to than the one in the LHD?...
The passenger compartment fuse box on the RHD Mustang is probably identical to the LHD Mustang. The main difference is that for driving on the left the accelerator pedal is bang in the way of the fuse box.

Our batteries are so powerful, it should not drain them should it?
A dashcam running continuously in parking mode will eventually cause sufficient drain on the battery to impede starting the engine. Many dashcams have a facility to turn off the dashcam when the supply (battery) voltage drops below a pre-set level.
