Damage to exterior/interior

I don't see how anyone can enjoy their car worrying about small imperfections. You have a Ford, not a Porsche. Drive it, enjoy it. Life is short.

Slight misalignment issues, yes... no big deal.

Dings, scrapes, or dents in the body panels, no....fix them.

I don't care if this was a freaking Ford Fiesta, dings and dents are unacceptable, no matter who the manufacturer is. You may be fine with it, but don't cast judgement if most people want a dingless car..

I wouldn't sweat the chipped calipers, I would touch them up as close to the color as possible and not worry about it, but to live with dings inn the body? Nope, that unacceptable and will be fixed.

Oh yeah. Dents in the body are a no go. Nobody makes me bleed my own blood but me!

I’m going to have to check for those dents when I get tomorrow. Although I will say unless it’s a total I can’t take it I don’t think I would do any paint work.

Everyone bought this car for different reasons, because I can live with a few things and some can’t, that’s just the way it is. People spend their money and expect a certain level of quality. Like my 16 GT350 has a bit of the rear bumper sag. To me it’s fine not bad at all, but thousands had theirs fixed. I put 2 chips in my hood on my 500 on the way home from Florida, to me, no big deal. It was worth it for that drive!!

Beautiful cars guys.. I think Ford will step up and fix these issues, I would just be concerned about down time the possibility some idiot in the body shop will make the issues worse. I mean questions arise like will they bag the car while in the shop, will the paint match and once again :how long will this take?

Asking you guys on what I should do here. My detailer is working on my car and he noticed some paint missing from the calipers he thinks was damaged from factory. I’ve sent this to my ford dealership and haven’t hear back yet.

Calipers are powder coated. it will take some work to get the film thickness to a point where you will not be able to see it anymore...….that's if you can match the colour.

Quick wipe with paintable high heat sealant or epoxy, then a brush of paint will do the trick.
