I have a 2007 Focus ZX3 that I was planning on using as my winter beater this year, (I traded in my Evo for my GT). But after taking it for a snow test drive last night I have come to the conclusion that 1 wheel drive just doesnt seem to cut it in the snow.
I had been planning on rally crossing it next year, but if i can barely move in the snow then I am not sure how it will do in the dirt.
Anyone have any ideas on how to improve the Focus or on a good winter beater?

You might want to visit a focus forum to learn how to mod... but I'm sure some here will have some ideas... but maybe for the best/recent ideas, a focus forum might work better.

If I had to deal with a lot of snow, I'd get a 4wd... or live close to public transportation... but that is me.

And the only way I can think to make any car work in snow - if your car is on the ground, this won't work - is with snow tires/chains. But I don't have a lot of experience with snow compared to you.
