Went to my dealer this morning to finally see my car in person.:eyebulge: Still have the covers and everything on. Plus 4 tires inside. Only thing they have done is installing the insurance demanded sat surveillance system.
They will clean it up nicely for me and I will pick it up March 21. :headbang:
And then the fun begins:headbonk:

Looks awesome. Roof, mirrors + some other pieces are on my list too.

First pic from a shoot I attended last weekend :)

Got my decals, shift knob, and black 5.0 badges in today, and ordered my headers and corsa system this weekend. I'm pumped.

10 days ago I went to my local dealers website (which is just 1000m away) to book my service - since they have a fully working booking site.

9 days later they tried to call me... once... I'm thinking I might go with the dealer that is 10K away instead.

shouldn't be this hard to book a service.

Yesterday I went for a ride with a colleague and let him drive around a lot so I can hear the car from the outside finally. I was actually expecting something much more quiet since a lot of people are complaining about stock exhaust. But man, it was a very pleasant and mean sound. I mean, I had an Ecoboost before with MBRP Race which was fucking overly loud and really annoying from the inside. But GT? Very very pleasant from the inside and definitely hearable V8 rumble from the outside. I'm not even thinking about changing the exhaust now.

A very wise decision. Ford nailed it with the GT exhaust, it's wonderful.

I posted this on another thread but I am re-posting this here.

I installed the MBRP Race Catback exhaust system in February. To my opinion - and my taste - they provide a great sound. I feel my EB growling! IMHO this is one of the best (if not the best) exhaust systems out there for the EcoBoost. On idle the sound is deep and when you simply "touch" the throttle you can hear a low growl coming out of the car. When you go WOT, it gets wild! But this is exactly what I wanted. Definitely love the sound, it's a different car - a head turner!

Below I post a YouTube video that I made. I have to tell you though, in reality the MBRPs sound much (MUCH!) better than on video (not only mine, but any video that I have seen on YouTube).

Mine is the US EcoBoost decklid version and so that is where it's going to go :)

Hi Eric. I am sorry to come back to this old post of your, but I wanted to ask a couple of questions:

1. You said that you have the US EcoBoost deck lid version. Do you know if the Stanginator will fit the normal EU version without any modification?

2. Maybe I missed it (the tread is too long) but where did you buy it from? Got a link?

Thanx!

Any drone inside the cabin? Any extra vibration?

A couple of months ago we did this video on a Mustang meeting:

On idle the sound is deep, not loud at all, exactly how you would like this car to sound. When you simply "touch" the throttle, at low rpm, or not at heavy load, you can hear a low growl coming out of the car. But it can get loud right when you want it to be - when you go WOT, it gets wild! I wouldn't call it a drone. No vibration. Personally I love these exhausts!
