Hm, I think LED switchbacks look way better. The tribars and the LED spot turn signals, even though they are sequential, in this mod look strange. Like a cheap copy of the headlight look

I've got the Pirelli's in 305 in the rear  never broke out whatsoever
Did you buy those over here in Europe? If so they might have a different compound than the Mexican P Zero's that are on our cars from the factory.

Wtf do you guys do on the roads? I push my car 1 time a week and never did it brake out when I didn't wanted it. Maybe it is the road but I thought the Belgian roads where the worst?!

As I said, I never had Problems with the Pirellis, even in the baddest weather conditions. But this morning, the Pirellis went crazy while driving like a Nanny :headbonk:

the pirellis are really dangerous... but I've heard that if you buy them here in europe, they are great :)
nr.09 try to do it as john said... on a roundabout with just a little bit of a wet road, and throttle a bit intentionally... the car will break out immediately... I've tried the same with my winter tires... and no chance to break out... :p it's really a huge difference of safety... but with the pirellis it's definitively more fun to drive...

You will keep saying that until the moment they catch you by surprise.

I never had any problems either, until last week in a completely normal situation I suddenly became a rally driving God!

Foot off the gas, opposite lock on the wheel and luckily it sorted itself out.

The (Mexican) Pirellis are junk.

Well then the car is going to stay inside when it rains/snows. Can't really pay a new set of wheels atm. So European pirellies are good or still not? Them I know what to buy next year or so

Already heard from a few People that they ordered new Pirellis for their Mustangs in europe and got the same V480/V481 Pzeros we already have on the EU Mustangs.

in 2 months the winter tires will be on my Mustang, then I will have plenty of time to think about new tires.

what I noticed is when you activate the Wet/Snow mode with the pirellis, you can drive safe even with rain :) so it's really an option... (but it's not funny or nice) :frusty:

with winter tires I drive always in sport mode :p hehe :headbang:

Well it's been more years than I can remember since I last drove Pirelli tires but I won't be buying them any more period. Big brands like that cannot afford to mislead their customers by selling poor quality product under the same name on another continent. It's a global market and shit ends up everywhere.

Also big shame on Ford for A) using these tires in the first place and B) not equipping EU Mustangs with something of more decent quality.

Michelin Pilot Super Sport for me. Best tire I've ever driven.

Yep! And considering they are nowhere listed on tirerack.com, I'd say they probably are not for sale in US. So chances are big you're absolutely right! Never knew there would actually be a difference. Who figured it's even legal for a company to sell different products as if they're the same under the same name. Imagine Ford would sell a Ford Ka in Russia under the name 'Mustang'

But I have to say, the tires are better than stock. I can't say though if that's due to them being wider, because of a different compound or maybe even a bit of both...

+ grip (duuh) :headbonk:
+ noticeably better cornering speed (although that's probably because the new rims aren't half a kilometer inside the wheelarches too)
- you do get a better feel of what's going on on the road. Therefore a bit less comfortable on shitty roads. On normal and good roads it's just the same though.

PS. I think mainly aquaplaning and not gripping during a launch (although that's probably because of the added power too:headbang:) were the biggest problem's with the stock tires

The Pirellis even look "crap" to me... uneven colouring on the walls etc. and my rears were visibly worn from 28km (or less?) on the car so I wonder what they did to it.

Got my F5 map today! Though I still need proper software on the Sync. Ford Store said I should just bring it in and they would "change the switch" to the right language/country/region but when I told them that "well, the software still doesn't have European langauges available" I didn't here more from them :D

Going to try and get a look UNDER my stang this week to see if they fumbled my underseal too... (reseller claimed it was "recalled"/"held back" on the docks to "fix" this (and some radio issue?) in September/October sometime...)

zomg... the Michelin PSSs are rated F in fuel economy :D LOL. Anyone thinking anything about the brand new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 that's coming out now? Seems to be rate C in fuel and still A in grip... with same DB (71) as the PSS.

Though it's only rated 100W instead of 100Y ... AND the prices I'm getting are higher than the PSS :D (not sure of the difference between W and Y, but for our slow ass roads it probably won't make a difference...)

Just read a review claiming the PSS had worse grip cornering than the P Zero's... though I'm assuming they were fully warmed P Zeros which won't happen often up here :D

The PZero's are truly the worst tyre ever made and should be banned. Came on my A6 as well. Both changed to PSS....

Expensive perhaps, but who cares? Its only your life and after all, the only thing that connects car to road is 4 rubber rings....dont skimp on that!

Even my old 780 benefitted greatly by changing from Pirelli's to Michelin. Ride is now smoother than ever and much quiter too and this is not even a fast car by any means :D
