Don't you have to look at Charge Air Temps in stead of Inlet Air Temp? At least that what's the owner of my garage (really clever guy btw) explained to me. I don't think you can monitor charge air temp without the Accessport unfortunately. Since I got the intercooler, the charge air drops under ambient temp right after you go WOT, then slowly goes up but stays much lower than with the stock IC. The very max charge air I've seen here is 120F after a few WOT highway pulls on a very hot day (for Belgium. So 30°C ambient) with the aftermarket IC.

unfortunately I didn't do to same before I installed the new IC. So don't know what temperatures were reached with the stock IC. But here's a thread about it: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28381&highlight=charge+air and people have seen +200F after pushing the car on the stock IC. So that's a pretty damn big difference IMO!

On the other hand: in our western-european climate, I'd say the stock IC will do just fine if you aren't a hoonigan and the mustang is mainly used on the highway. I drove around some time with only a new intercooler, cat-back and intake before doing all the other mods. But I have to say, the difference was noticeable on hot humid days if having some fun.

Oh yeah I'm sure there is a difference. The question is is it worth the expense. That indeed depends on your application and where and how you drive the car.

Weekend commitments:

1) get back the stock exhaust from my friend's garage
Since it's huge, I used my parents' RV to get back home the exhaust :D

2) put away unused stock parts
stock air intake, stock hood rod, stock front lower grille and stock front fog lights
(I'm planning to sell at least the grille and fog lights)

3) adjust the Magnaflow muffler tips height
(this is in its specific thread)
not perfect, but acceptable :)

Job done!

A fun moment: when I was working on muffler, I parked the car in the RV's garage and when I'm back for a fraction of second I thought "Hey there's a Ferrari in my garage??"

what the?!

I must say I loved the rear lights on the '13/'14 Mustangs - but not sure they would fit well with our more modern looking '15+s... and that "transformer" above seems just weird...

As you can see the Barricade Mustang has no housing of the rearlights, there are just lightpanels attached to the body. I think the mods really give the car the Alien-looking style they were probably looking for.
