Thanks John. Now I need to find one that is not shipped from US (don't want to pay 40 eur for that), and better if I could find a compatible one..

Does anyone know how many kms will the brakes on a GT usually last? Mine is driven pretty hard. I'm at 8500 kms now but I'm planning a 5k kms trip and I was wondering if I should plan on changing the pads somewhere along the route or just change them before I leave. Thanks.

I have 35k Kms on mine now. At the the 30k km service I was advised they were starting to get low, but still quite a bit of life left.

I drive my car hard.

Unless you have done 8k of pure track driving, you should be fine. :)

I've only been to the track once with this car but it generally gets driven quite hard. I should be fine I guess.

Good to see you're enjoying the car! At how many kms did it ask for an oil change? Mine says i have 15% oil life left at 8500 km. Is it normal to change at 10k kms?

I'm over 40K kms and my brakes are still excellent. I'm a normal driver though and do a lot of highway. I'd be surprised if they don't make it till at least 60K.

Oil change at 10k Kms is not normal.

A couple of guys in the UK had the same issue and received a free oil change.

Mine has always been around 10-15% remaining at the prescribed 15k change interval.

Thanks a lot, I'll check with my dealer. It seems the timer for the oil change is off on some cars or something, at least that's what I gather from the forum. Apparently because of the long delivery times. Weird though, my car was delivered in April and it's built in January if I remember correctly.

Anyone looking to trade their euro spec gt decklid for an American spec one? I really like how the faux gas cap looks but they don't sell that decklid here.

Find the menu option to reset the oil life. Selecting it shows you the current number and tells you how to really reset it. People sometimes can't find the number because they are afraid to select the menu option to reset it. Not the best design by Ford.
