cutting the grill.

First things first.. If you have not already done this then you are missing out!! okay second. I live in south florida and its been 87-90 all week and my normal IAT's are anywhere from 100-130 depending upon a lot of things. normal driving they are at 100-114 if I sit somewhere that's when they can hit the 130's. so I took a dremmil tool and cut out the grill where the intake is. not even all of it just most of it. the temps outside were a normal 87-88 today and my IAT's after driving around never went about 94.. even sitting at a light they only went up to 99. I left the car at the gym for about an hour and half and the IAT's when I started the car were around 130. as soon as I started driving on the road they plummeted down to low 100's then after a few more minutes they were back into the 90's.. there is so much more are going into the intake now, it makes quite the difference.

Need an account at photo bucket,tiny pic, imageshack, etc. Upload pic then copy the 'direct link" . Click the the insert image button and paste.

No 3rd party account required. You need to either quote someone or, if not quoting, click the 'Go Advanced' button instead of doing a quick relpy.

Scroll down to 'Additional Options' and click the 'manage attachments' button. Browse to your picture on your hard drive and then select upload. Done.

OR, if you are browsing via mobile device (smartphone) download the app tapatalk, if you havent already, and you can post photos from your phones gallery. That is the most convenient way, i have found.

I am also in seeing this "cutting" of the grill. Do you have a stock airbox?

Didn't cut mine, but did drop a 1/2" drill through every sealed mesh opening in front of the air intake.
