I've had my JLT3.0 installed for about 3 weeks now. I emptied it for the first time last week, thinking there might just be a film in there. Wrong; about 1/4" of oil collected...amazing.

Point is the JLT works and work well and (surprise) is dead-nuts easy to install. Yes; you have to unscrew the can and dump it out vs. a nice check-ball valve on the Bobs. A very minor inconvenience which is totally offset by how easy it is to install and use. Haven't gotten around to taking pics and selling my Bob's yet, but it's coming.

I really liked the bobs because it also held itself with a bracket. All those connections are plastic and i rather not have them do any brunt work.

Very true. When I first started looking at catch cans, the fact that the JLT held itself by the hoses sort of turned me off about it. But the think is so light (aluminum) and the hoses so stiff and short, that there really isn't much weight at all being supported by the fittings/hoses.

I LOVE the hoses and beefy AN fittings on the Bobs. It looks industrial-strength and based on testing I read up on, it absolutely works. But in the crammed S550 engine bay, it's just not a good fit IMO, especially with the upgraded hoses that are very inflexible.

It took me maybe one minute to unscrew and empty the JLT while I was under the hood detailing things after the last hand-wash. For how well it works

Its an easy fit but i would need to cut the bracket and leave it open ended to shorten it or have one that was an inch longer. The way its set up by default its meant to be tight when it does not need to be. I spent nearly another $50 that i wont recoup trying to get everything right. And with the responses I got from them and the over 10 hours later working on it Im done. Just done.
