Are you doing them on the GT500?
I had a set on it, which came out great. I have since sold them when I sent my car to SA. I have a different vision now that I will get to show pretty soon :sunglasses:

Are you getting some thing from Shelby for covers? Or a new set me? I’d love to see what you’re doing?

Yes, super easy to do yourself. My first set I did.

Did same as bjstang above scuffed, primed, painted, then clear coated.

One trick I will share that I came up with is, I fill the lettering and lines with white glue prior to any primer or paint and let it cure before spraying anything on it. Super easy clean way to get clean lines and lettering at the end without having to go back and repaint black. Glue just peels right out. Oh, also use blue painters tape in the hole to hold the glue in the line.

Then after all the paint and clear coat has fully dried just peel the glue out.

My advice, pay @BLKMGK350 to do it if he'd be willing.. Because IMO, RPI could learn a thing or two from him:

Waited forever to get them and I could have done a better job myself.. I never put them on the car, they were so poorly done. RPI isn't worth it IMO.
