Custom painted hood insulator

Hi guys,

I wanted to get myself a hood insulator with a graphic of my own but I'm not that skilled to paint it myself.
I thought about direct-to-object print but I'm not sure if it will hold up, my biggest concern is the heat.
Same with the independent artist but it's going to be the pricest option.
So my question is: how do they get those made? I'm thinking about a medium sized graphic in the middle of the insulator.
