I am working with a manufacturer to develop custom coilovers for the S550 platform. I am not currently able to get measurements from my own mustang so, if anyone is able to help me out. I have provided a picture of what I need measurements of.

if anyone is able to help out its greatly appreciated.

Please don't be offended as I'm only trying to help but I feel like anybody who would be willing to design an entire coilover system with only the dimensions you've asked for is not going to produce a product that you'd want no matter what the price point is. There are already many good products on the market that are proven to fit and they span many price points depending on what your needs are. The dimensions above don't seem to properly account for the mounting for the top of the spindle or the position/indexing of the sway bar mount.

these are measurements I am asking for. doesn’t mean these are the only measurements we are using to develop coilovers.

why not start with Bilstein or (gasp) those icky BC $1000 units and go from there? The primary problem with BC et. al. is the shock bodies are too short (can't get back to 'zero') or if you prefer the converse, the shock shaft is too short. And their valving is crap.

All those measurements need to be done correctly by someone who knows what and how to do the measurements. Some random schmoe on this board is unlikely to want to spend the time nor have the knowledge to give you good data. If they want to do it right they need to find a car and take all their measurements themselves. Or just buy the Ford CAD set and read it off the drawings.

My car is going to Fortune Auto this fall for their 3-way shock build and they'll have it for a couple weeks. They already have an application so it's not like they are starting from scratch on dimensions. They are developing a new valving setup with their new piston design (not yet released) so therefore the R&D. And I'm going to hopefully convince them to put a PROPER and actually useful camber (castor?) plate on the damn thing. Yes, they really do think it's just fine to have to dismount the entire shock just to change camber. Talk about stupid! If they won't then I'll machine some parts to put either Vorshlag or Steeda bits on top.

There are guys already out there who have bought cheap-crap BC suspension, gutted them and replaced the valving with Bilstein internals and happy with results. I would suggest you do something similar.

There is already the $1000 pricepoint and lots of people who use them totally ignorant of how lousy they are. You've got Bilstein at north of $2000, and $3000 (ohlins) and $5000 (Core, JRI, Penske, MCS) so exactly what market do they think they're going to cater to? If there's any opportunity it is to re-valve the BC family of shocks to work properly at like $1500 a set.
