Cursor jumps when cell phone posting?

Has anyone else seen this when posting from their Android phone?
If so, have you found a fix or have any clue for what I can check into to fix?

When I enter text in a reply (or new post) field, the cursor will randomly jump to near the beginning of the field often. I am typing away to find my letters are not 'taking'. But when I scroll to top of field, they were inserted after the first or second character of the post (Usually here [Qu'---'ote: )

I do not see this when I type in text messages or emails, just when posting on our 6G forum.

I have a Samsung S5 (KitKat 4.4.4).

PS. Also equally annoying is that the screen will scroll away from the place I am typing every few character entries. PIA

I've experienced same posting from iPhone6 and ipad2... Sometimes the cursor is not lined up, kinda skewed... Or if I try and take the cursor back to correct a word, it is delayed and I end up back spacing too far when not intended...Not sure what is causing it though...

Well at least good to know I am not the only one and not Android only. Hopefully a techie (or moderator??) might give us some idea what how to fix it.
