Current Build Week Dec 1 - Tracking Thread

So my dealer told me that my build week was Dec 1. Finally yesterday I got an EDD in COTUS (of 12/13/14). How awesome would that be!!!

I checked COTUS this morning and it's showing 01/09/2015. I know the date fluctuates and will try to not say mean, bad words to COTUS for being contrary. I'll post my updates on this thread and not bog down the main ones with COTUS/delivery changes.

I'd love to hear from others with the same build week to compare notes. I'm in countdown mode!

I wouldn't bet on 12/13 with a 12/1 build date. I think first weeks of January is more realistic. That's still pretty fast to build it and ship it with Christmas/New Years as shipping gets slow around then.

My build week is 11/24 and I have the same EDD or 01/09. I'm thinking early January is realistic because of all of the holidays.

My car just went to "In Production" today, so I suspect my actual build week is 12/1.

My EDD is still 01/18/2015.

When did you get your VIN? Is your window sticker showing up on COTUS? That should give you your blend date. My understanding is you go into production about week before your build date, which would put you in week of 11/24.

My car went "in production" today and my estimated delivery date in COTUS is showing as 12/9/14.

It should be 11-24 if it went into production today on Cotus, from what we've seen in the past, Cotus shows up ONE week prior.

So if it's in production on 11/24, then they're not taking the entire Thanksgiving week off... presumably just Thursday-Sunday?

I'm not sure Jimmy, I'm trying to figure that out myself. I saw my build week on the dealers computer and can confirm it WAS 11/24. I checked Cotus today and my EDD jumped 5 days and now my dealer says Build Date is the 29th, but I don't think that can be right. It seems silly making them come in on a holiday weekend and I'd rather wait than have some pissed off folks putting my car together!! Waiting to hear back from someone who knows!!!!

That's what I was hoping... but the whole week off for Thanksgiving thing had me scratching my head. Rachel told me it was scheduled for the end of this month, I just expected turkey day to knock me back a week.

I got my VIN back on 10/16, so I have been patiently waiting.

Ahh ok, so likely a week before build. I can't see when my status changes because Covertibles don't show in Cotus.
