Congrats! Any pictures? Thoughts on your car? You happyPicked mine up today.
Took one in the dealer garage but it was too dark outside to get any good shots. Will take more tomorrow.Congrats! Any pictures? Thoughts on your car? You happy![]()
Great to hear! Glad you're enjoying it. Not to mention, it arrived faster than you expected it:cheers:Took one in the dealer garage but it was too dark outside to get any good shots. Will take more tomorrow.
Thoughts: the car is phenomenal. The seats are astoundingly good; the interior is WAY better than the S197, just worlds better. Everything feels high-quality. Oh, and for people debating the 68b package -- get it. The premium leather (50th Anniversary Package is the same) is so supple it's amazing.
Agree with everybody who says the sound quality with the Shaker Pro audio is better with the "Driver" focus setting, it sounds plenty good to me. Car drives beautifully; I haven't pushed it too hard, although I couldn't help myself and did do one acceleration run to redline at 35 miles on the odometer. IRS is a huge upgrade over rough pavement. Only downsides so far are that the exhaust is really even quieter than I was expecting (you could rev it in a library and nobody would look up) and the transmission seems to give a bit more engine breaking than you'd expect.
For my original order from Smithtown Ford that I cancelled, I don't even remember. From Sayville Ford, Jack Frost. He's fantastic, really a great guy to deal with.Congrats to everyone who has received their car on this thread. Jimmy Reading through this thread We both ordered from the same dealer who was the sales person that took care of you?
Thanks! I'm especially fond of the fuzzy dice.Looks great dude!
My EDD changed yet again, #8 now. I just wish it would get out of the heavily populated areas and start making some real progress.
As of this morning it was in a Chicago suburb.
