I called Ford two days ago and they said my car is still in production, even though according to COTUS it's been built since 11/01

That's a LONG time. Does your dealer provide any info as to why?

No my dealer is useless. I went to him today, and he just said "Oh yeah, something happened. It should be here mid-December". Thanks, I already know that from COTUS. My best guess is that mine is stuck in quality hold

Order on 05/20 GT Premium CO Auto 401A 50 yrs pk 3.55 NAV; built
date 10/28, A/S 10/28, went INTRANSIT either 10/28 or 10/29, rcvd
at MI Railyard 10/31 (STILL there), EDD 11/20 and now I've nothing
on COTUS except a VIN----check it 4 times today----no EDD or clock
countdown. Called FORDSERVICE Monday of this wk, was assigned a
case # and was told I would rcvd a call in two days----------nothing.

COTUS is "AMAZING", really! It just added another day to my EDD, now the 11th of December, but in the meantime, my dealer called me earlier today to tell me my car has made it to Cheyenne, Wyoming since Wednesday afternoon (from near Chicago). Cheyenne is about 100 miles north of Denver, he also told me it will arrive at the rail yard in Denver on Sunday, and that it will take all day Monday to get the cars unloaded. He is going to pick mine up from there on Tuesday so I don't have to wait 2-3 more days for it to get on a truck to be sent to the dealership. The last discussion we had was it will take the better part of Tuesday and some of Wednesday to get the car prepped and to have the Clear Bra treatment put on, he thinks I'll have it either late Wednesday or early Thursday... a full week ahead of the latest update from COTUS. In the defense of COTUS, it should be in my hands around my original EDD. :shocked:

OK, one more rant and I'll be happy..... While waiting for my delivery, my dealer was sold to another auto group, and when I asked if they would still accept the Certified check for the balance due I had cut a couple weeks ago they said "No we are a completely different company", so I guess they didn't absorb the other company, they just purchased the dealership, so I got to waste another hour and half going to the bank to have a new check cut... OK I'm done for now on this thread.

That's cool that they are getting it from the railyard. Mine sat there for 3 days before it was tranpo'd to dealer.

Just got an update from my dealer. EDD and countdown is still mia on cotus but dealer says its at New Jersey Port currently awaiting a convoy. Original EDD in his system was December 4th but because of backed up cars awaiting shipment from the port, he says my date got pushed back to 12/14-12/17 which is okay with me I guess. What do you guys think about Pirelli Cinturato P7 AS for the front tires and Pirelli Cinturato P7 AS+ for the rear? I'm going to sell the Pirelli summer only that they come with and thinking of putting these on, mostly weekend car commuting to work is so much easier (aka safer since I don't trust my car in a parking lot unless I can check on it every 5 minutes)
