Current Build Week 11/17 Tracking Thread

For those of us in this "11/17 schedule to build week" that have not moved into production yet, maybe we will get going later this week. :hail:

My dealer called this morning and said my build date has moved from 11/17 to 11/18. I can handle that!
My belief is that the EDD is pushed to first week January for CYA reasons.
If you calculate backwards from your EDD in January '15 using the maximum time estimates in each phase of the delivery process you essentially get back to the week of 11/17.
Conclusion: nothing has really changed, but the EDD may reflect an anticipated delivery delay due to weather/ shortage of trucks or train cars, etc.

I just heard back from Ford Service:

Good morning, Bob!

Of course! Your Mustang is still on track to build mid-November; it should go into production late this week or early next week.

The ETA did populate to January 4th, but that may change once your Mustang is finished producing and goes into transit. I've seen others with late December and early January ETAs change to earlier once the vehicle actually went into transit. I can't guarantee that, of course; it has just been my experience so far.

11/17 build week here as well! Based on what I've gathered on other peoples build to delivery dates we're looking at roughly getting our cars at an estimated 24 days edd maximum. That means the week of December 8th if nothing tragic happens and the cars do take the absolute longest to arrive. Which I highly don't mind. BIRTHDAY WEEK!

Also I was thinking that our cars will be built before thanksgiving, the real question is will it leave the plant before thanksgiving/will it be interrupted heavily by the holiday?

VIN Assigned 10/16/14
In-Production 11/10/14
Blend date: 11/17/14

My EDD went from 12/5 to 1/2/15. I'm hoping when it's built the EDD will fall back to December.

The Earth MOVED!!! Went into production today!!! Original EDD was 28 November but bumped to 2 January (like everyone else scheduled for 17 November)...possible mid December delivery now? Will make for a SWEET homecoming!!! :ford:

Same here ... she's making progress! Only took me checking 50 times a day .. :shocked:

It's kinds strange ... www.ordertracking.ford.com shows in production with no dates, but www.cotus.ford.com still shows in order processing.

After getting my EDD bumped to 12/25 yesterday my car now shows "IN PRODUCTION" and I couldn't be happier. Can't wait to get the window sticker to open, I'm hoping tomorrow.

JimmyTwoTimes, to answer your question if you're scheduled build week is 11/24 you shouldn't see changes in EDD or the bar to move into production until next week. As we've all learned, the bar moves a week prior to the build date of the car which means the bar will move either 11/17,11/18, 11/19, 11/20, 11/21 or 11/22. Till then EDD is just that, an estimated delivery date. It's not the actual concrete date of delivery.

Mine changed around 230 cst.

My order went into production today as well! It probably switched over around 4:30 PM CST.

Mine went into production yesterday, and my dealer just emailed me saying that they're seeing an EDD of 11/22! (though COTUS still says 12/30)
