read the first post on this thread and got REALLY excited and went to check cotus....

still on 10/27..... man..... i was about to get excited.....
All things considered, those of us with a VIN and a build date should be ecstatic. There's a lot of forum members that would give their left testicle(if so equipped) to be in our position. Just sayin'

I agree, I ordered 8/29 got scheduled on 9/25 for 11/2 and was moved to 10/27. This means Ford is not as behind as they thought and things are moving along nicely (in my mind).

So your build date was pushed back a week? I think I saw a few do that, as others were moved up...weird.

Check, track and update progress here if your build week is 10/26,27.

A few of us already have our "currentbuilddate" at 10/20/2014!

Maybe some of us will take delivery before halloween!?!?

To view source code on cotus...enter order# and dealer code, right click then click on 'view page source'...then ctrl+f, then type 'currentbuildweek', or 'currentbuilddate'.
lol thats a bit of wishful thinking if you get built on the 20th.. that leaves only 11 days for it to await shipment, have the correct train pick up your car, have that train go to where it needs to go to have the trucks then sub divide the cars, then have that truck drive to the different dealers it needs to travel to, all in 11 days.. which just wont happen.

with a 10/20 build date + shipment to Florida... that might work out perfectly for ya:thumbsup:
this will not happen depending upon where in florida you live.. Im in south florida, Fort Myers to be exact. None of the dealer stock cars have even arrived yet. almost a week behind other dealer stock cars.

I don't think the time from "In order Processing" to "Delivered" is going to be as long as some people think. Granted I live in Ohio, but this is the timeline of the car my dealership got this week. I'm hoping for, but not expecting, the same 8 day production to delivery time frame.
ohio makes a big difference.. a train going to ohio to any part of florida is another whole day. and im sure it stops in or near the middle of florida "orlando" and then trucks take them either north or south. but no cars even dealer stock have come south yet.

Depends on where they are. We have now seen cars built and delivered in a week's time. Seems the "awaiting shipment" delay may only really apply to the Job 1 cars stuck in the QC lot. The Job 2 cars appear to be going directly onto the trains/trucks. Hopeful.

Of course, here in CA, COTUS is showing 30 days from Built to Estimated Delivery. Which is why I am still "hopeful" for a pre-Thanksgiving delivery. Lots of potential slips between here and there.

yes exactly. think about how many stops along the way to either CA, or FL. 11 days is a bit fast. And people have to remember as well.. that just because your car is built on 10/20 doesnt mean its leaving that day. they have to fill up that train and might have to wait until 10/25 to do so. people have to think more into logistics.
