cup holder delete

hi members. we that are getting RHD cars have the cup holders near the driver as they didn't redo the centre console. this is not ideal as your arm has to rest on those two holes. does anyone know of a cup holder delete setup? i see they have them for the 09-14 models at cj pony, lethal, etc. but not for the s550. any reason for this, thanks, tom

I've used a don't-use-the-cup-holder setup in most of my manual vehicles.

yea i know. most of europe is LHD though so no biggie, but UK, australia, new zealand and south africa are RHD so i guess we're not big enough market to make it worth while. only 6-7,000 cars ordered so far. so a nice arm rest that would fit in those misplaced cup holders would sell like pancakes. if not i'll just have to make one myself.

same mellow yellow but the point I'm trying to make is that our arms rest on these two holes as they are shifted right nearer to the RHD driver , soooooo..... a nice cover of some type as they have made already for the 2009-14 MY would be nice. BUT they aren't making one and I'm not sure why? some thing to do with the key fob electronics?

the cup holders have a slot underneath them to put the key fob in to start the car if the battery in the fob dies. Wouldn't want to delete that.

Stuff some padding the cup holder holes for your arm to rest on

Cup Holder Delete...and 3D printers...

Okay...you guys with 3D printers...
Someone needs to laser scan the cup holders...convert the data to
printer input and print out a cup holder filler. Add a nice soft padding on the top and you have a nice perfect fit arm rest.
And you can just pull it out when needed to hold that Slurpy!

I know that many 2015 owners hate all of the electronics in their cars...but there has to be at least a few Pony 'Nerds' out there.

OR Remove the arm rest and bring the arm rest around over the cup holders towards the dash?one big armrest?
